Cameron's Judgment Called into Question by Leader Column

The judgment of Prime Minister, David Cameron, has been called into question by the leader column of The Herald newspaper.

The column today picks over the relationship Cameron has had with News International, publishers of the News of the World newspaper which was closed down in July amid allegations of phone-hacking.

The column follows the publication of a memo from Culture Secretary, Jeremy Hunt, to Cameron, that is supportive of a bid by News International parent company, News Corporation, to takeover satellite broadcaster, BSkyB.

The Herald asks how it could be that Westminister Business Secretary, Vince Cable, was taken off deciding on the bid because he seemed biased against it but that Hunt was not removed from a similar adjudicating role despite seeming to be biased in favour?
