A promotional campaign to encourage media companies ‘set up shop’ in the Pacific Quay area of Glasgow – where the BBC Scotland and SMG headquarters are already based – is to be launched later this year.
It follows the appointment of marketing communications agency, BD-NTWK, by Scottish Enterprise, to conduct the campaign on behalf of the city’s Digital Media Quarter.
BD-NTWK beat off five other agencies to win the job and their brief includes producing a brochure, direct mail and website design, plus a launch event in September.
Among the first initiatives earmarked for the ‘quarter’ is The Hub, which is expected to become home to a family of media outfits, including the Glasgow School of Art's digital design studios.
Established in 1990, BD-NTWK have offices in Glasgow and London.
