A former vice-president of Nokia has been confirmed as the new chief executive of one of Scotland's most successful digital agencies, after the company’s founder stepped down.
Mark Bole will take charge of operations for bigmouthmedia across North America and Europe at the company’s Edinburgh office with founder, and predecessor, Steve Leach, becoming executive chair.
“The search for a new group CEO has been intensive, and I believe that in Mark Bole we have picked a winner,” said Leach, who founded the company in 1997.
“He has held roles at a very senior level with several technology heavyweights, and has coal-face experience of running complex multi-territory European organisations as well as mergers, acquisitions and the challenges these events can throw up. He is supremely well qualified for the position.”
Bigmouthmedia specialises in search optimisation and online advertising.
