The stunning winter collection from luxury menswear brand D.S.Dundee is coming to Edinburgh’s New Town on Thursday (November 26th).
The elite company, founded in Dundee, recently showcased its latest designs at the Scottish Country Living Fair and will publicly unveil its collection at a champagne reception at 29 Dundas Street on Thursday.
Hosted by Tartan Silk PR, the event will be held in association with Tullibardine Distillery and guests will have exclusive access to the full range of the high end fashion brand’s hand-tailored garments.
Taking centre stage will be D.S. Dundee’s best selling product, its refined tweed shooting jacket, which gets called in for shoots and generates more enquiries from buyers more than any other. However, visitors will also have access to an impressive array of shirts, caps, polo shirts and jerseys.
Also on offer will be the exclusive gift box from D.S Dundee and Tullibardine Distillery, featuring luxury products from D.S Dundee and Tullibardine’s recently released aged-oak edition.
Designer/photographer Oli Pilcher, manager Jim Pickles and designer Elizabeth Reeds will also be available to discuss the ethos of the thriving firm and the inspiration behind its latest offerings.
Additionally, they will donate 15 per cent of the proceeds to Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland. The charity was chosen as Oli’s father-in-law, who lives in Edinburgh, recently suffered a heart attack.
DS Dundee prides itself on pushing the parameters of design whilst drawing inspiration from Scotland’s rich textile history and indigenous country style.
The company, established in 1994, uses only the highest quality fabrics and yarns that this island has to offer and manufacture their garments in the EU.
This unique event promises to be a real showstopper and will take place at Tartan Silk PR, 29 Dundas Street, Edinburgh, from 4pm until 9pm on Thursday, December 26. Drinks and nibbles will be provided.
