VisitScotland’s Business Tourism Unit has recently appointed Richard Knight as Marketing Manager for North America & Emerging Markets.
Richard benefits from an inside knowledge of VisitScotland having previously worked for the organisation within both the UK & Ireland and North American & Australasian Trade Marketing teams. Additionally, he brings a wealth of project and brand management experience gained over several years with Gillette where he worked as Marketing Manger for the Corporate Gifts and Incentives, Business to Business division including time spent in India and China.
Commenting on the appointment, VisitScotland’s Head of Business Tourism Caroline Packman commented: “The North American market and others such as India are a vital sector for us to target. We are confident that Richard has the fresh perspective and wealth of knowledge to step up to the challenge. It is my pleasure to welcome him to the team.”
