Leading Aberdeen accountancy firm Fyfe Moir and Associates has hosted an event which has raised over £6,000 for charity.
The Queens Road-based firm, headed by Westhill residents Alan Moir and Graham Fyfe, held a race night in aid of the Scottish Association of Sign Language Interpreters (SASLI) at the Ashdale Hall in Westhill recently.
In September, SASLI will host the European Forum of Sign Language Interpreters (EFSLI) conference in Glasgow. The money raised at the Fyfe Moir and Associates event will allow subsidised travel for delegates from countries where interpreters may be disadvantaged, enabling them to attend the conference and enjoy support and fellowship from their European peers.
The fun night was compered by local comedy favourite Patrice and included a full programme of races, stovies, a bar, a raffle and an auction.
