The breathtaking Ardanaiseig Hotel has won the prestigious accolades of ‘Romantic Restaurant of the Year’ and ‘Chef Medaille D’Or’, at the Scottish Hotel Awards 2010.
These latest awards are testament to Ardanaiseig’s excellence in fine-dining. Medaille D’Or-winning Chef-de-Cuisine Gary Goldie combines a unique culinary flair with the use of the very finest local and international ingredients. Over the course of 12 years at Ardanaiseig, Gary’s reputation has gone from strength to strength as he continues to draw upon new inspirations and an endless resource of passion and creativity.
In response to the award, Gary Goldie commented “I take great pride in the fact that everything we make is fresh and sourced locally where possible. Most of our venison, fish, herbs, vegetables, fruit and fungi come from our own grounds – and we take full advantage of the first rate local seafood too”

In response to customer demand, Gary has also launched private cookery classes at the hotel – and a new Scottish Fine Foods & Whisky package will be introduced this month.
