Leading London based branding consultancy, 999 Design, has developed an innovative packaging brand design for the launch of Freeview HD, establishing it as a major player in the HD TV market in time for the World Cup.
The Freeview HD brand has been warmly received by the industry and can now be seen in-store and on most of the manufacturers’ packaging and displays.
The new brand design reinforces the high-tech nature and definition of the HD technology, whilst retaining all the qualities of the umbrella Freeview brand. Individual manufacturers have been queuing up to adopt the new design to their packaging and the flexibility of the new design means that they are able to tailor it to their individual needs.
999 has further reinforced the branding through in-store point of sale material which encompasses the main theme of the Freeview HD brand and brings it to life before the customers’ eyes.
Owen Jenkinson, Head of Marketing at Freeview commented:
“999 have developed a look for Freeview HD that is both contemporary and mainstream. But the proof is really in the pudding; with retailers and manufacturers adopting the look throughout in-store environments and even product packaging, providing a seamless customer journey.”
Aileen Geraghty, Managing Director of 999 commented:
“Working closely with the Freeview HD brand, we have successfully created a packaging template which communicates the brand in a consistent manner. This in turn means that Freeview has been able to develop a stronger, more visible presence in the market place.”
Established in 1982 by Richard Bissland and Bill Gaughan, 999 Design has become one of the UK’s most prestigious design agencies and boasts an impressive client portfolio in the retail sector including; Digital UK, Highland Spring and Warburtons to name a few.
