Scotland's leading luxury resort has raised the level of customer service sky high by becoming the first five-star hotel to offer exclusive seaplane flights to guests.
The Cameron House Resort on Loch Lomond, has teamed up with award-winning Loch Lomond Seaplanes to provide visitors with a unique opportunity to enjoy a sight-seeing trip of Scotland from the air.
Throughout the summer guests will be able to take-off directly from outside the hotel and enjoy a 30-minute aerial tour of some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world and then land back in front of Cameron House in time for dinner.
Flights, which start from just £99 per adult and £75 for under-12s, will fly west over Helensburgh to Loch Goil and Loch Eck with views of the islands, Carrick Castle, Inveraray Castle and the Arrochar Alps or head east over the Trossachs and Loch Katrine to reveal breathtaking views towards Grampian.
Award winning Loch Lomond Seaplanes, which was voted the most perfect day out in Scotland in a recent tourism survey, is Europe's only commercial seaplane service and offers a variety of charters, tours and destination flights from the river Clyde in the centre of Glasgow and from Loch Lomond.
Since taking-off for the first time seven years ago Loch Lomond Seaplanes has become one of the most iconic tourism attractions in the country and was recently featured in an international documentary flying singing sensation Susan Boyle around Scotland.
“There is something undeniably romantic about a flight on a seaplane over some of the most beautiful scenery in the world,” said David West of Loch Lomond Seaplanes.
“There aren't many places in the world as breathtakingly beautiful as Loch Lomond and the Highlands of Scotland, especially during long, light summer evenings.”
Cameron House, which recently underwent a multi-million pound refurbishment is recognised as one of the UK's premier 5 star Resorts and boasts a roof-top spa, state-of-the-art fitness suite and championship golf course. Last year it was named as the best resort hotel in Scotland at Golf Tourism Scotland’s recent Gold Standard Awards ceremony.
“There is no where else in Scotland like Cameron House. A magnificent baronial mansion surrounded by over 100 acres of ancient woodland on the shores of one of the most famous bodies of water in the world,” said Stephen Carter OBE Managing Director of Cameron House on Loch Lomond.
“In a land where eagles soar there is no better way to enjoy such a spectacular landscape than from the air and Loch Lomond Seaplanes provides an unforgettable romantic experience.”
