ONE of the country’s top news and PR photographers, Stewart Cunningham, has been snapped up by Stop Press! Media to join the ranks of the company’s expanding media training team.
The multi-award winning photographer, who has more than 30 years experience across four continents working for national and international media, has been signed up to provide companies and organisations with a unique insight into how to use images to build brands and increase sales.
“Stewart is one of the UK’s foremost media photographers having worked for Reuters, Associated Press and every major newspaper in the UK and abroad at one time or another. He has covered everything from product launches to major news and sports events world-wide,” said Fiona Mackay, Director of Stop Press! Media.
“The right image can make the difference between a press release getting a good show or not not being used at all. Photographs really can be worth a thousand words and it can be very easy to ruin months or years of work with just one bad photograph. Nobody knows better than Stewart the tricks of the trade.”
Stop Press! Media brings together experienced journalists, PR professionals and social networking experts to provide businesses with first hand knowledge of how to work with the press and social media. The company provides a variety of media training packages and experiences for public and private organisations.
“It is staggering to think Stop Press! Media has pulled together a group of professionals with more than 100 years of experience between us. The media may be changing, new technology has made major differences in recent years but the basic steps of making the news and grabbing the headlines remain the same. I am looking forward to working with such a great team,” said Stewart Cunningham, who is also the founder and director of Great Scot Photography.
