The Manufacturing and Engineering Forum (MAEF) is an initiative led by Renfrewshire Chamber with the sole purpose of developing Renfrewshire into a Centre of Excellence for Manufacturing and Engineering companies. Our ultimate goal is for the area to win back business that for years has gone abroad – by local companies improving the cost, quality and service by working with organisations such as SMAS. This in turn safeguards jobs, attracts inward investment and the local business community from SME to bluechip works closer together, sharing learnings and opportunities.
We have had previous forums at Diageo, Howden, Chivas and P&J Training and engaged with many organisations such as CeeD, Scottish Engineering, SCDI as well as SMAS
The next Manufacturing and Engineering Forum will be on the 22nd June, from 1-4pm at Rolls Royce, Inchinnan.
The theme will be Manufacturing Quality – The Improvement Journey
