The Houston Inn Music Festival Returns by Popular Demand

The famous Houston Inn Music Festival returns by popular demand on Saturday July 17th with five hours of music from established resident and up and coming local musicians.

Featured acts include Ritchie from ‘Tooz – Up’, the boys from ‘The Sly Dogs’, Noel from ‘Uncle Remus’ and solo artist Alan Mitchell.

The music kicks-off at 4pm from a stage in The Houston Inn’s popular beer garden and continues into the early evening before the entertainment moves indoors with the boys from ‘The Rock Show’ playing from 9pm till midnight.

Houston Inn manager Caroline Kinnaird said, “If you love live music then this is a day you’ll not want to miss! Offering a full day of live music chosen to suit all tastes, our music festival is the perfect family day out and always attracts groups of friends looking to catch some great sounds while soaking up the summer sun.”

As well as the sunshine and music, another attraction of the beer garden is The Houston Inn’s new bar menu, comprising a variety of sharing platters and nibbles such as potato skins, homemade nachos and BBQ pork ribs.

A traditional country inn in the village of Houston, a short drive from Glasgow city centre, the Houston Inn’s 70 cover restaurant offering flavoursome traditional fare using locally sourced ingredients is complemented by a 50 capacity beer garden. The inn also provides free parking.
