Managing director of Aberdeen commercial property firm FG Burnett, Angus MacCuish, has been appointed to the Board of Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce (AGCC).
A member of the Chamber’s council body for six years, Mr MacCuish now steps up to become one of eight board members who will help formulate the strategy and policies of the influential business network and lobbying group.
Mr MacCuish said: “After six years as a council member I have a good understanding of the objectives and inner workings of the AGCC and I am looking forward to playing a greater role in assisting member companies during my three year appointment.
“With more than 30 years experience in commercial property, I will also be able to offer advice to the Board on a wide range of planning issues and longer term property trends which could potentially impact on each and every one of our businesses.”
Fellow FG Burnett director, Graeme Watt, has also been elected to join AGCC’s 30-strong council.
