Chart-topper Olly Murs has been announced as the headline act for an exclusive ladies-only lunching event.
‘Lunch in the City’ – an annual event held by Radio Clyde – will take place on Sunday, September 26th at Glasgow’s Hilton Hotel. Olly Murs will be performing live to an audience of over 700 females, alongside other top singer Fyfe Dangerfield and Bauer radio DJ Adrian Coll.
Suzie Maguire – Clyde 1’s new breakfast show presenter – will host the afternoon, which will include a champagne reception and three course lunch.
Olly Murs, the 26-year-old runner-up from this year’s X-factor contest, topped the charts this week with his single ‘Please Don’t Let Me Go’.
Now in its fourth year, tickets for the event are selling fast but limited numbers are still available.
Clyde’s station director Tracey McNellan said: “We are absolutely delighted that Olly Murs will be performing live at our annual ‘Lunch in the City’ event.
“With Olly hitting number one in the charts this week this is a fantastic addition to what is already a really exciting event – we have no doubt he will enjoy performing to the lady-only audience as much as the ladies will enjoy watching him!
“Our new breakfast show presenter Suzie Maguire is also sure to bring lots of bubbly entertainment to our 700 ladies. This year, like all those previously, looks to be a sell out event and we look forward to welcoming everyone and providing a top class afternoon”.
