Chosen Charities in High Spirits Following Chivas Brothers Donations

Chivas Brothers, the Scotch whisky and premium gin business of Pernod Ricard, has donated £28,000 to its four chosen charities this New Year after employees from across 30 sites were invited to nominate and vote for their Charity of the Year 2011.

The charities, listed below, have each received £7,000 and span across the main geographical areas of the business – Dumbarton, Greater Glasgow, Northern Scotland and London:

Alzheimer Scotland (Dumbarton)

Paisley and District Branch of the MS Society (Greater Glasgow)

MS Society Scotland (Northern Scotland)

Macmillan Cancer Support (London)

Vanessa Wright, Chivas Brothers Communications Director, said: “We are delighted to be making these donations to four very worthy causes, and we hope this funding will help these excellent organisations continue their vital work.

“As a leading employer in these four regions, we understand the importance of giving back to the local communities in which we operate. These donations are all the more special because they were nominated and voted for by our employees.”
