Volunteer Driver with the Scottish Ambulance Service Pleads Guilty to Defrauding the NHS

A volunteer driver with the Scottish Ambulance Service has pled guilty to defrauding the NHS.

David Lawson, (57) a volunteer patient transport service driver from Dalkeith, submitted mileage claims for the journeys he had undertaken between 2001-2004, inflating the actual miles driven.

Edinburgh Sheriff Court saw Mr Lawson fined
