Annual search launched at Glasgow Science Centre for Scotland’s top inventors

This year’s Biggart Baillie Innovation Award, an initiative to recognise Scotland’s most inventive minds,was launched at Glasgow Science today (Thursday 8th November 2007). The Biggart Baillie Innovation Award offers financial and practical support for Scottish inventors who are in the process of developing a new product or service. It aims to reward Scotland’s best inventive talent and freshest ideas.
The awards scheme is now in its third year and features three categories -
1) an open category
2) Scotland’s top female inventor
3) student innovator.
The Biggart Baillie Innovation Awards is open to anyone over 18 and resident in Scotland who is in the process of developing a new product. Inventors have until the 18th January 2008 to enter. Applications can be made via the Glasgow Science website www.glasgowsciencecentre.org
