Musselburgh Racecourse is back racing on Friday (Jan 14) following the disappointment of having to abandon its New Year Day meeting.
With condition at the East Lothian course described as good and the weather posing no problems, race course management are looking forward to a decent crowd.
Feature race of the day is the £10,000 County Refreshments Kilmany Cup three mile handicap chase in a seven race card worth more than £32,000.
Racecourse general manager, Bill Farnsworth, said: “It was very frustrating to lose the New Year day meeting but things are fine for Friday and we are looking forward to getting back in to action.
“We are at the mercy of the weather at this time of year but fingers crossed we will be racing on all our scheduled race days.”
Gates open on Friday 11am and first race is off at 12.50pm. Discounts are available when booking online. For further information visit www.musselburgh-racecourse.co.uk
