Gordon Beattie, founder and chairman of Beattie Communications, has praised the decision by fashion retailer Burberry to open its first menswear-only store.
Beattie who recently formed Only Men, the world’s first male marketing agency, said: “I applaud the decision by Burberry to open their first men-only store.
“It’s exciting to see an established fashion retailer like Burberry reaching out in such a positive way to the male audience.”
Burberry is to open its first menswear-only store, next to its existing outlet in London’s Knightsbridge.
Beattie continued: “The male retail market is worth a staggering £150bn, so I see Burberry’s decision as a smart commercial move.”
