Hall Morrice today (Wednesday 5th October) announces the promotion of Paul Archibald to the position of Audit and Accounts Manager. Paul has worked with Hall Morrice since graduating from Robert Gordon’s University in 2007. As part of his degree, Paul spent one year working on placement at Hall Morrice and undertook his Chartered Accountant training with them before qualifying in 2010. He then remained with Hall Morrice on a permanent basis to further develop his career in Audit and Accounts. Paul will now be taking on the responsibility for a portfolio of clients and will be also assisting the other Audit and Accounts team’s managers. The chartered accountancy practice, which has offices in Aberdeen and Fraserburgh also recently created three new positions within its audit and accounts team as a result of recent expansion.
Paul Archibald says, “I thoroughly enjoy working at Hall Morrice; they have given me the opportunity to develop professionally from my first day working with them to the current day where I am now responsible for a range of clients.
“This promotion allows me to diversify and apply my knowledge and skills to further my career in this field whilst remaining at a firm which I strongly believe in and enjoy working for.”
Hall Morrice Partner Shonagh Fraser says, “2011 has seen Hall Morrice continue to grow our staff of accountancy professionals. Paul’s promotion is the latest in a series of new appointments and promotions which continue to strengthen our team. We know that our team was at the heart of us being named Best Small Firm at the prestigious 2011 Scottish Accountancy Awards earlier this year.”
