Commenting on the positive results chamber chief exec' Bob Davidson said “The Chamber team with support from our board of directors led by president Tom Johnston, have worked extremely hard to get Renfrewshire Chamber to where it is today. But we are not finished – we have some ambitious plans in place, including extending our work with schools and on track to reach 600 members by March 2012. We really are helping Renfrewshire grow and prosper – we have some truly fantastic businesses across Renfrewshire – with the M74/M80 improvements and Glasgow Airport bang in the middle – it is a great location to be based. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our members for their continued support.”
The Chamber recently had it prestigious annual business awards – The ROCCOs held ever year at the Normandy Hotel. Hosted by Fred MacAulay, the event was attended by 470 guests, with 11 awards presented and over £10K raised for local charities on the night including St Vincent's Hospice.
