Win

The award-winning Avenue Shopping Centre in Newton Mearns is giving shoppers a chance to win £100 of shopping vouchers in a life-size Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip cut-out poster frame competition as part of a fun-packed series of free family events to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee.

All shoppers have to do is take their photos in The Avenue’s Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip cut-out poster frame between 2nd and 7th June and upload it onto The Avenue’s Facebook page. The best picture will win £100 worth of Avenue shopping vouchers.

Michelle McCabe, Centre Manager at The Avenue, said: “We’ve a fun-packed series of free events for all the family at The Avenue as part of our Jubilee celebrations.

“The party gets started on Saturday 2nd June with a Waterstones street party with special guest ‘Badger the Mystical Mutt’, from the popular series of illustrated children’s stories for five to eight year olds addressing such issues as bullying, disability and prejudice.

“The following day is Funday Sunday with a ‘Royal’ caricaturist theme available for shoppers in the mall. Then, on Thursday 7th June, the ever popular Primavera café bistro, which has just been transformed with a magnificent makeover, will host a special Royal Tea Dance from 7pm – 9pm.

“And we’ll be handing out a selection of free Jubilee goodies throughout the week!”
