A NEW annual exhibition showcasing the latest in home improvements and interiors has secured backing from five leading North-east businesses.
It has been announced Thistle Windows and Conservatories, Stewart Milne Homes, Laings DirectLine Bathrooms & Kitchens, Drumrossie Homes and Grampian Continental are supporting the inaugural Scottish Home Show 2012.
The event, which is being held at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre on 1-2 September, will see more than 100 exhibitors showcasing their new home design and home improvement offerings.
It is the first major home event to be hosted in the North-east in recent years and is aimed at highlighting some of the best home and garden products, innovative new technology and gadgets on the market.
The home show is being hosted in association with Thistle Windows and Conservatories, with Stewart Milne Homes as gold sponsor, Laings DirectLine Bathrooms & Kitchens and Drumrossie Homes as silver sponsors and Grampian Continental as the TV media sponsor.
Director of Scottish Home Show, Darren Ross, said: “It is superb to gain the support of five key businesses which are market leaders in the North-east. These five local sponsors have shown their commitment to the launch of the Scottish Home Show in Aberdeen, which will offer local and national firms the opportunity to showcase the best products and designs available in the home design and home improvements market. This event will give exhibitors the chance to really shout about what they have to offer.”
CEO of Thistle Windows and Conservatories, Nick Robson, said: “We are very happy to support a show of this kind in the local area. All too often the people of the North-east miss out on these events or have to travel long distances to enjoy such home showcases. This is a great event which will hopefully attract a lot of visitors to the city over that weekend.”
