THE cream of the Scottish business community, including the brains behind popular brand Morphsuits, will come together next week for the inaugural WeDO Scotland conference.
Taking place in Edinburgh on October 11th, the first conference to be hosted by leading entrepreneurial network WeDO Scotland will give high flyers from across the country the chance to learn from each other as well as hear invaluable advice from some of the industry’s most acclaimed experts.
Speakers at the event include non-executive director of Robert Wiseman Dairies, Jack Perry CBE, who previously held the role of chief executive of Scottish Enterprise; along with Morphsuits co-founder, Gregor Lawson; former Wall Street trader-turned-managing partner of Genesis Asset Management, Mike Williams; and IT specialist, Martin Mutch, who is co-founder and chief executive of software consultancy Rocela.
Alongside the expert talks, workshops on everything from banking disputes to the future of social media will take place during the event.
Founder of WeDo Scotland, Belinda Roberts, said: “WeDO Scotland has an ethos firmly built on nurturing Scottish business and through events such as the WeDO Scotland conference, we strive to celebrate and encourage the amazing entrepreneurial spirit we have on offer in this small but feisty country.
“WeDo Scotland’s first ever conference is arriving with a bang, offering wisdom to Scotland’s business community from some of the best in the business.
“I am delighted to welcome our four expert speakers who come with their own wealth of experience and are able to offer valuable advice on a wide range of hot topics.”

Those involved in the organisation range from start-up businesses with high growth potential to multi-million pound turnover companies.
