A LEADING North-east HR and health and safety firm has appointed a key member of staff to head its specialist resourcing division.
Aberdeen-based Empire recently secured the services of resourcing manager, Sara Mack, who has over 20 years’ experience in the recruitment sector.
Ms Mack, 46, has a wealth of experience recruiting for the oil and gas industry. Previously she worked for major consultancies, before she went in-house to head-up recruitment teams at two major global oil service companies, and latterly spent the last two years of her career working as a senior recruiter for one of the top names in the energy industry. She will use her expertise to strengthen the new division at Empire.
The resourcing service is tailored to suit clients’ individual specifications, covering everything from preparing a job description and sourcing suitable candidates, right through to the interview stage.
Ms Mack said: “We want to work in true partnership with businesses to help them to transform their recruitment and think innovatively about talent acquisition and develop a strategic approach to resourcing. We want to help build our clients’ profiles and their future talent pools.
“We will work as part of a company’s HR team, liaising directly with hiring managers to provide innovative, bespoke solutions that improve recruitment processes, resulting in increased quality and improved client and candidate satisfaction.”
Empire managing director, Steve Cook, added: “We use innovative resourcing methods that help businesses attract, retain and develop the people they need.
“Sara’s knowledge of the industry is superb and she will no doubt guide the resourcing department to deliver another excellent service to our clients.”
