A MULTI-disciplined firm of independent land and estate agents, has added another string to its bow with the latest appointment at its fast growing Oban office.
Hugh Nicol, a chartered quantity surveyor and qualified project manager, will bring over 25 years experience in the construction industry to his new role at Bell Ingram, which will allow the firm to expand its range and depth of rural land management services.
Belonging to Argyll and with family throughout theWestHighlandsandIslands, Hugh has the advantage of valuable local knowledge of the history of the area whilst bringing relevant overseas industry experience to seal Bell Ingram’s reputation for exceptional service and skilful handling of rural estate management matters.
Hugh is the only quantity surveyor to be currently employed by Bell Ingram and the first to be employed at the Oban office.
He said: “Bell Ingram already provides a full range of management and estate agency services to a range of existing clients.
“My new role means I can develop this consultancy business by adding a new dimension to the work that we can undertake, something that no-one else is offering in the Argyll area at the moment.
“My background is in the construction industry but the principles and ethics involved within this sector are essentially the same and so easily transferred. I have also recently qualified as a ‘RICS Registered Valuer’ which will add to the required skills suited to the role.
