INVERURIE’S Gallery i has joined forces with Huntly-based Deveron Homes to host an art exhibition in Kemnay.
The showhome of Deveron Homes’ Cairn View development is providing the backdrop for a range of pieces from Gallery i with the aim of enhancing the flagship building whilst delivering accessible art to the wider community.
Commenting on the project, Gallery i proprietor Mark Gask said: “We have a ‘home is where the art is’ theory which basically means that art should be incorporated into part of everyday living and essentially fit in with the interior in which is it displayed. That means making available pieces which are affordable and tie in with décor schemes, both in their composition and framing.
“The pieces we have chosen for Cairn View range from Bennachie originals and exclusive prints by Graham Covey to items from Doug Hyde who specialises in art for children’s rooms.”
Deveron Homes’ sales director, Lynne Holburn, added: “We are delighted to be working with Mark and the Gallery i team to extend the pleasure of art to a wider audience through our Art in the Showhome project.
“Design and aesthetics play an important role at our development at Cairn View so it made perfect sense for us to continue the theme of art within our beautiful showhome.”
Prices at Cairn View start from £219,950 with a host of Ecosmart features including solar panels as standard. Buyers may also benefit from a range of purchase options including MINewHome 95 per cent mortgages, discounted terms for legal assistance and a full property resale service.
