A new presenting team at Edinburgh all-speech radio station, talk107, enjoyed a small triumph on Wednesday evening, when Scot, Kenny Richey, arrived at the city’s airport, after almost 20 years on ‘Death Row’ in the USA.
On Monday, Dominik Diamond and Marisa de Andrade took over the station’s late afternoon/early evening ‘drivetime’ from Simon Pia and Heather Dee – amid some surprise and consternation.
But on Wednesday, the repercussions of the switch will have been at least temporarily forgotten, when it became clear that, while other radio media were present to greet Richey, only one team was able to broadcast it live: talk107.
