One of Scotland’s best-known crime reporters is to go freelance, after a year working at the Scottish Sun.
Jane Hamilton was, before her stint at the Sun, four years crime reporter at the Sunday Mail, preceded by another four years – as crime correspondent – at the Edinburgh Evening News. What’s more, she’s leaving to hopefully study the subject at university: she’s applied for Masters degree in criminology.
