Just how one of the country’s leading banks managed some of its high-risk corporate customers, as part of the build-up towards the banking crisis, is the subject of a radio documentary made in Scotland being broadcast on BBC Radio 4.
It is understood that Ian Fraser – currently acting business editor at Sunday Times Scotland – has been working on the programme for several months.
The programme looks at the behaviour of HBOS’s corporate division. The reporter is Allan Urry. It is being broadcast as a ‘File on 4’ this evening at 8pm.
It is expected to be the basis of news reports throughout the day and is to be repeated at 5pm on Sunday.
