Headline of the Month Competition: Another Contender

It was being suspected last week that the death of actor David Carradine – probably best known for his appearances in the Kung Fu TV series during the 1970s and the Kill Bill films of this decade – was because of autoerotic asphyxiation……..thus prompting the headline on the front page of Thursday’s Daily Record: 'Kinky Thrill Kills Bill'.

It was penned by executive editor, Bob Caldwell, and nominated by Business7 reporter, Scott McCulloch, for this month’s Headline of the Month competition, sponsored by Whyte & Mackay.

Each month, a bottle each of Whyte & Mackay’s Special whisky goes to the author and nominator of what’s considered to be the best headline. What’s more, the best headline of the year wins its author and nominator each a bottle of limited edition Whyte & Mackay 30 year-old, worth over £150 a bottle.
