BIG Partnership Unveils Five New Members of Staff

One of Scotland's best-known PR agencies has unveiled five new members of staff, on the back of winning new business.

The appointments are in The BIG Partnership's Aberdeen office, bringing its staff complement to 22.

The new business wins include CorDEX, Digitron, EPC Offshore, Energy Environmental Limited, EV, Fairfield Energy, Faroe Petroleum, Intertek, Interwell and the Wood Family Trust.

The five new faces, says BIG, have been recruited in the last three months.

Senior account executive, Stacey Horne, has joined the team having spent three years as a journalist with the Aberdeen-based Press and Journal newspaper.

Eilidh McCluskie joins as an account manager having spent six years in various public relations roles in Liverpool, working in both the public and private sectors.

With a BA Honours degree in Media Professional Studies from Liverpool John Moores University, McCluskie has, says BIG, “extensive experience in strategic communications planning, stakeholder engagement and delivering high-profile PR campaigns”.

Vicky Florence, also joining as a senior account executive. She is described as having “three years’ experience in public relations at both local and global PR firms and has worked across a range of sectors including energy, tourism, business, public sector and consumer PR”.

Former journalist, Ross Anderson, joins BIG from Aberdeen City Council’s corporate communications team as an account executive, having begun his career at the Ellon Times newspaper four years ago.

Jennifer Gibson takes up a newly-created account manager role following an 18-month spell with Weber Shandwick Scotland. She gained a MA Honours degree in International Relations and Sociology from the University of Aberdeen before taking up the post as Parliamentary assistant with North-east MSPs, Alex Salmond and Maureen Watt. 

The BIG Partnership has offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Kirkcaldy.
