With the National Union of Journalists in the midst of an UK-wide ballot of its members – to determine whether it should call for industrial action over the compulsory redundancy of 15 BBC Scotland producers, assistant producers and researchers – has learned the name of at least one of the rooms where staff were informed the ‘curtain was coming down’ on their BBC careers….
