La Parmigiana, Glasgow’s finest restaurant for classic Italian cuisine, has introduced five fresh lunchtime menus served from Monday through to Saturday from 12.00pm till 2.30pm.
Already renowned for being elegant, yet affordable, La Parmigiana will doubtlessly bolster that reputation with its new three course lunchtime menus available for £14.40.
Whilst each of the five menus features a soup of the day and a sweet of the day, diners are invited to choose from a selection of dishes which recently earned the restaurant two AA rosettes for culinary excellence.
A typical menu comprises starters ranging from: terrine of oxtail with a parsley and garlic sauce; salad with chargrilled salmon and Sicilian orange and pine kernal salad.
Mains include: large ravioli stuffed with mushrooms and ricotta cheese; fillet of hake with cherry tomatoes and capers; strips of beef sautéed with cherry tomatoes, rocket and potatoes and roasted quail stuffed with mortadella, spinach and parmesan cheese.
Sweets meanwhile include: strawberry semi-freddo; tiramisu; apple tart with ice cream; apple crumble; ice cream with cocoa and Glayva; pannacotta with a crushed berry coulis and mascarpone cream.
La Parmigiana was established over 30 years ago, making it the longest established classic Italian restaurant in Glasgow that remains under the ownership of the family that founded it.
