Judith Thorpe and Karen Molloy, founding members and directors of Aberdeen based Thorpe Molloy Recruitment, were announced winners of the Business Leader of the Year category at the Institute of Recruitment Professionals’ (IRP) Awards, last night (Thursday 26 November).
Held in London, the awards, which celebrate the standards, commitment and dedication shown by recruitment professionals, were hosted by the British recruitment industry’s trade body, the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC).
Commenting on their success, Thorpe Molloy’s Managing Director Amanda McCulloch says;
“I have worked with Judith and Karen for 11 years and throughout this time their focus and integrity has shaped our business. Their vision for the company has always been clear and concise, to provide the best recruitment service to our clients and candidates and to be focused on growth. Their determination not to waiver from our business plan during the recession has caused us to move forward and develop as a business during a time of stagnation for many others.”
Thorpe Molloy Recruitment has been recognised throughout 2009 by the recruitment and business communities. Earlier this year the company won the Scottish Recruitment Awards Small/Medium Agency of the Year, reached the finals of the Recruitment Consultant of the Year (Permanent Recruitment) category and reached the finals in the Northern Star Business Awards Woman of the Year category.
