First held in 1998, the show has become a major annual event at the SECC, attracting over 45, 000 visitors and 600 exhibitors.
This year it opens on Friday February 12, and runs through till Sunday February 14.
Promising an even bigger and better event for 2010, Barrhead Travel’s chief executive, Sharon Munro, said: “We have a massive range of experts attending the Holiday Show, and they'll all be available to give guidance and information to enable customers to make an informed choice. A holiday is a big purchase and it's important to make sure it's perfect.
“A popular feature of the 2010 show will be the Travel Talk Theatre, where representatives from travel suppliers, tour operators and Barrhead Travel will give presentations on their areas of expertise, and where questions are welcome.
“For anyone looking for some inspiration for their next trip away, this is the place to be.”
Well-known for its range of specialist departments, including Canada, Golf Holidays, Longhaul and Australia & New Zealand, Barrhead Travel will have consultants on hand to help members of the public create their perfect getaway.
As UK National Cruise Agent of the Year 2009, the company’s Cruise Village, featuring a variety of cruise lines including Thomson, Princess, Ocean Village, Cunard, P&O, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Lines, will offer exclusive prices and great added-value-extras on all bookings made at the Holiday Show.
Sharon continues: “Above all else, the Holiday Show is a fun day for everyone involved.
