Deep Casing Tools, the Aberdeen based company whose innovative technology delivers major benefits in the construction of Oil and Gas wells, has changed its name from Futuretec Limited. The company has also re-branded to coincide with forthcoming new product launches in the spring and to support a new worldwide marketing and sales campaign.
Lance Davis, Chief Executive of Deep Casing Tools, said, “We believe that the new name Deep Casing Tools is a better description of what we do and what we provide our customers. Deep Casing Tools focuses on the design and manufacture of innovative, precision engineered tools for the most challenging deep well construction and completion scenarios.”
Deep Casing Tools provides a range of equipment designed to ensure first time casing and liner placement and better cementation. The Turbocaser™ is a drill-thru reaming system, which is suitable for all rigs and casing strings. It is independently powered and avoids the need to rotate the casing, saving time and significantly reducing risk. The Turboblade™ is the best-in-class solid centralizer providing maximum turbulence for a cleaner borehole and excellent stand off, both of which result in better cementation.
The company is currently developing a portfolio of innovative deep well construction tools for its expanding international network of oil and gas exploration customers.
