Kevin and friends unite for an exclusive retrospective of his favourite tunes
Glasgow, Scotland – July 26th 2010. Intimate Gigs, in association with North Lanarkshire Council, today announced an exclusive gig with Kevin McDermott and The Section at the Belshill Cultural Centre on Friday August 27th.
With a wealth of tracks to choose from and supported by some impressive Scottish talent, the gig promises to thrill fans as they relive their favourite KMO classics and perhaps experience a few surprises and fresh interpretations of some much-loved masterpieces.
“It’s going to be great to get back on stage as a four piece and we’re talking about some pretty amazing musicians here,” said Kevin, “…actually it’s probably just going to be magic to get back into rehearsals, I’ve missed playing the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire quiz machine in the corridor.”
The Section features an impressive line up of well-known faces including Jim McDermott on drums and percussion, Stuart MacLeod on guitar and Campbell Owens on bass.
