Aberdeen design and fit-out specialises ASM have been awarded the contract to refurbish an up-and-coming city eating venue.
The project at the Courtyard on Alford Lane saw ASM complete their second refurbishment for city chef Chris Tonner.
Following the huge success of his La Stella restaurant in Aberdeen’s Adelphi, city Chris Tonner has taken over the premises in Alford Lane, behind Holburn Junction, where he aims to bring his talent to the west end of Aberdeen.
The building was last used as an Indian restaurant, but prior to that it was home to the highly regarded Courtyard restaurant, a name which Chris intends to revive.
Commenting on ASM’s work, Chris said: “I had no hesitation in appointing ASM for this project – the job they did for me at The Adelphi was fantastic, and they are a great team to work with”.
Shelley McCaul, head of design at ASM, added: “We’ve got to know Chris well since working with him on the La Stella project, and understand his wish to compliment his superb cooking with a quality environment to create a top-class dining experience.”
Work on the fit-out of the premises has now started on site, with Chris aiming to open for business at the start of September.
