Neighbours, everybody needs good neighbours – and now next door neighbours Cookie and Lady Drawers are hosting a joint ladies night from 5.30pm on Wednesday 6th October at Nithsdale Road in Glasgow’s southside.
In an enterprising link-up, Cookie, the award-winning eatery, and Lady Drawers, the showcase for the products of local arts and crafts makers as well as a collection of quality clothes, accessories, jewellery and bags, are getting together to host a special shopping and dining event for the girls with special offers.
Lady Drawers partner Sally Millar said, “We know that we share many customers in common – customers enjoy browsing around our various artefacts before or after dining at Cookie – so it makes sense to put on a special evening event to cater for their requirements.”
Cookie co-owner, Dr Melanie McCallum, said, “We’re really looking forward to this inaugural event and am sure that, together, ourselves and Lady Drawers can provide our shared customers with a great night out!”
And to get the girls in the mood, for one night only, customers who spend £20 in Lady Drawers will receive a complimentary glass of wine in Cookie, while all diners in Cookie spending £20 on a meal will receive a £10% discount on items valued at £20 or more at Lady Drawers.
Recently named Glasgow Newcomer of the Year 2010 for breaking the mould of local eating and drinking, Cookie seeks to break down the barriers between food production, distribution, preparation and consumption. Cookie is based at 72 Nithsdale Road, Pollokshields, Glasgow www.cookiescotland.com.
Lady Drawers offers a constantly evolving range of clothes suitable for any occasion at affordable prices unavailable elsewhere in Glasgow and is based at 66 Nithsdale Road, Glasgow www.ladydrawers.co.uk.
