With The 55th Criterium de la Premiere Neige in Val d’Isère celebrating Britain’s contributions to the world of skiing, we offer you the opportunity to discover why the French Alps is the world’s leading destination for winter sports and international competitions.
- On Thursday December 9th, start your trip with a visit to the town of Annecy, at the foot of the Alps, on the shores of the purest lake in Europe. Romantic canals and overall charm have earned it the label “Venice of the Alps”.
- On day two, you’ll spend the morning at the peak of the Mont Blanc in France’s oldest and most famous ski resort – Chamonix. The Mecca for skiing and mountaineering in France and the birth place of the 1st winter games. Enjoy some time on the slopes or recharge your batteries at a spa.
- On Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th December, you will join the opening of the highlight of the Winter Sports events calendar in Val d’Isère.
For the first time this year, the organisers on the Criterium have decided to celebrate skiing nations from around the world.
This year, it’s the British Criterium, dedicated to France’s pioneering and inveterate friends across the channel. The presence of the British press would be a fitting way to honour the tribute.
As places are limited we would be grateful if you could come back to us as soon as possible should you wish to attend.
Please note that a confirmed commission is required in order to take part in press trips organized with ATOUT FRANCE and its partners.
