Looking for a festive party atmosphere with just the right blend of jazz and soul? Then look no further than Kudos Bar and Restaurant on the corner of Waterloo Street and Wellington Street in Glasgow city centre.
Kudos has booked the Michael Deans Quintet led by the renowned tenor saxophonist followed by eight piece soul party band Republic of Soul to get revellers in the festive spirit this Saturday 11 December and Saturday 18 December.
Owner Neil Beaton said: “If you’re looking for a party with delicious food together with a modern mix of bebop, jazz, funk and classic and contemporary soul then Kudos is the place to be on Saturdays!
“Our stylish upstairs bar and dining room provide the perfect environment within which to sit back and enjoy some chilled jazz and bebop from 4pm to 7pm while you dine whilst the soul party starts at 9pm – and there’s plenty of room for you to hit the dance floor!”
Customers at Kudos can also enjoy a unique glass atrium external courtyard, affording them an opportunity to connect with the bar and enjoy the atmosphere whilst enjoying an al fresco refreshment.
Kudos offers a comprehensive range of beers, wines and spirits combined with a menu which evolves from great value lunches to modern contemporary dining in the evenings. The venue also benefits from a downstairs private suite which can accommodate up to 60 people. Ideal for private functions, this suite is also suitable for local businesses to use for meetings and events.
Located just yards from Central Station at 29 Waterloo Street on the site formerly occupied by Archie’s, which was destroyed by fire in 2005, Kudos opened last month following a lavish £500,000 redevelopment.
