Glenton Holidays has launched a range of holidays to UK Christmas markets this winter to cater for rising demand for domestic tours.
The euro exchange rate means bookings for Glenton’s UK programme have soared this year, so the British Christmas markets are expected to prove especially popular.
European Christmas markets are traditional options for Glenton customers but the new tours offer the chance to sample a Continental Yuletide experience yet still shop with sterling!
Steve Turbill, Commercial Director, said: “Many British cities have invested in their Christmas markets over the years and now they rival those famous Continental events.
“As more of our customers are asking for extra options closer to home, we hope these Christmas market tours to cities such as Manchester, York and Worcester give them plenty of choice for retail therapy during the festive season.
“And for those who still love shopping at the perennially popular markets on the Continent, we feature tours to Germany’s Rhineland and Belgium.”
