An Inverurie business celebrated its first birthday with a racy fashion show in the local town hall on Wednesday, October 28th.
Designer lingerie shop De-Zire – which is located on the town’s West High Street – held the event to say thank you to customers, friends and associates of the store which has enjoyed a successful first year in business.
Among the lines to be paraded by a troupe of local models were Aubade, Lejaby, CK, Charm=nos, Dreamgirl, Leg Avenue and Ted Baker. De-Zire owner Susan Evans was also delighted to showcase Karen Millen Lingerie – a new addition to the shop’s range and De-Zire is the only stockist north of the Central Belt.
Commenting on De-Zire’s first year, Susan Evans said: “We opened in quite a difficult economic environment but we have been very pleased with our first year.
“It is particularly satisfying to see so many customers from all over the region coming back again and again, and many of them comment on the very personal service that we offer – it’s something we pride ourselves on.”
De-Zire at 8 West High Street, Inverurie is open Monday to Saturday 10am until 5pm. The shop can be contacted on (01467) 670835.
