An honorary professorship has been conferred on one of Scotland’s best-known journalists, Dorothy-Grace Elder.
The former British Reporter of the Year has received the accolade from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen.
Says the university: “Professor Elder exposed numerous injustices and scandals, from tracking down paedophiles in Scotland, to highlighting appalling conditions in Russian prisons for
various papers, including Scotland on Sunday, The Herald and the Scottish Daily Express.
