It was a BBC Scotland umbrella that was being used to shield the parents of freed BBC journalist, Alan Johnston, from the rain – as they were giving their reaction to the media on his release, early yesterday morning, from captivity, after being kidnapped in Gaza, in March.

And it wasn’t just the BBC Scotland logo that caught the eye, as Johnston’s parents were expressing their relief.
